FAQs about this course

The CEH certification can be challenging, as it requires understanding of a wide range of cybersecurity tools, techniques, and concepts. The difficulty often depends on your background—those with prior IT or networking knowledge may find it easier than complete beginners.

On average, preparation for CEH takes 2 to 3 months of consistent study. With intensive training, some learners complete it in a few weeks, while others may take longer depending on prior knowledge and study pace.

CISSP is generally considered harder than CEH. While CEH focuses on ethical hacking techniques and tools, CISSP requires in-depth knowledge of broader cybersecurity domains, policies, and management practices. CISSP is also aimed at experienced professionals, whereas CEH is more accessible to those earlier in their careers.

Yes, a beginner can take CEH, but it is recommended to have basic knowledge of networking, operating systems, and IT security fundamentals first. Without this foundation, the course may feel overwhelming.

Yes, CEH remains valuable in 2025. It is recognized globally and demonstrates practical knowledge in ethical hacking, penetration testing, and security assessment. Employers often view CEH as proof of essential cybersecurity skills, making it a worthwhile certification for career growth.

Yes, ethical hackers are in high demand. As cyberattacks grow more sophisticated, organizations need professionals who can identify and fix vulnerabilities before malicious hackers exploit them. This demand continues to rise globally and locally.

Ethical hackers do not need a government-issued license, but certifications such as CEH, OSCP, or CISSP act as industry-recognized credentials. These prove that the professional follows legal and ethical standards when performing security assessments.

Yes, CEH can help you secure roles such as Security Analyst, Penetration Tester, Vulnerability Assessor, or Cybersecurity Consultant. While CEH alone may not guarantee a job, it strengthens your resume and gives you credibility in the cybersecurity field.
