COURSE OVERVIEW

InfoClub’s Graphic Design course track offers a diverse range of tools and techniques tailored for aspiring designers, architects, and engineers. From mastering vector illustrations with Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW, to professional photo editing in Photoshop, and layout design in InDesign and QuarkXPress, learners gain hands-on experience with industry-standard software. This track also includes technical design courses such as AutoCAD, CAD Design, and Revit, equipping students with essential drafting and 3D modeling skills for engineering and architectural applications.

GRAPHIC DESIGN SOFTWARES

CorelDraw

COURSE CONTENTS : Drawing shapes, lines and curves. Outlines and fills. Use of colours. The Transform tool. Text formatting, fit to path and effects. Transformations. Corel effects(blend, contour, envelope, powerclip, extrude, lens). Convert to bitmaps & bitmap effects. Sample projects : design of logos, special text effects, brochures, etc.

Photoshop

COURSE CONTENTS : Photoshop's Environment Toolbox. Scanning. Image Size and Resolution Cropping. Making selections. The Rectangular and Elliptical Marquee Tools, The Lasso Tools , Saving Selections , The Magic Wand Tool , The Magnetic Lasso Tool Layers. Blending and compositing. Text, Layer Effects, and Filters Channels. Adjusting Images Saving for print and for web. Sample projects

Illustrator

COURSE CONTENTS : Getting Around in Illustrator. Tools. Closed & Open curves. Inserting, Selecting, Moving, Copying and Deleting Objects . Views. Formatting Text & Paragraphs. Drawing Objects. Pictures. Import/Export Types. Layout & Styles. Special Effects in Illustrator. Saving for the web. Printing & Color separation. Design Principles

DURATION : 3 months or 36 hours+project and exams papers/ Intermediate & Advanced Levels

QuarkXpress

COURSE CONTENTS : Document Creation, Setting margin and column guides, Using guides. Working with text. Checking spelling. Linking and unlinking text boxes. Columns. Font, point size and colour. Horizontal and vertical alignment. Drop caps. Pictures and other graphics. Importing pictures. Drawing and modifying lines. Working with colour. Changing stacking order of items on the page. Grouping items. Prepress and print options.

DURATION : 3 months or 30 hours+project and exams papers/ Intermediate Level/
AutoCAD
COURSE CONTENTS : Navigating AutoCAD, using essential tools, creating and editing 2D/3D objects, managing layers and line types, setting views and viewports, and working with object properties. Dimensioning, annotations, layout setup, and printing preparation. Importing/exporting files and optimizing for output.

DURATION : 3 months or 30 hours+project and exams papers/ Intermediate Level/

Revit

COURSE CONTENTS : Navigating Revit, using essential tools, creating levels and grids, working with families, modeling walls, floors, roofs, and adding windows and doors. Managing views, dimensions, annotations, and 3D modeling. Setting up schedules, sheets, and using rendering tools. Importing/exporting files and preparing for printing.
